When we had to evaluate database software, back in early 2007, we choose TFG4000, as it appeared to be the best value for money. Downloading the trial version was quick and straightforward and nothing would hold us up anymore, to work towards the management's goal, to have a working database in place by the end of the year. A bit further down to road we reached some limits of the software and realized the fact that it was not tailor made for our purpose. Being a licensed customer of The Fredrick Group, we put their service to the test, and with no more delay than the time zone would impose, we got an answer. This scenario would follow us throughout the coming months and the reply was always satisfactory. In the mean time, we have the system in place and our daughter company is using it as well, isolated on their own server. Powerful enough to manage the warehouse of a medium size metalwork company, yet easy to use and understand, that even untrained staff can work with it, we still believe to have made the right choice. We had a problem with the email function. I called and Fran gave me his full attention and was concerned. I appreciate the full attention as any more when you call other support lines they are juggling other calls and you don't get their full attention. Not so with Fran, he listened to me even though I was not using all the technical terms and he walked me through the issues at hand. He was a great help and his instructions were easy to follow.
